  1. The Majlis al Jinn drop is enough that people have done ‘base jumps’ (jumping down with a parachute not rope) from the top entrance. In fact your picture shows a small fraction of that drop – imagine if the man was the size of this full stop. on this page to get an idea of the scale

  2. Wow, That’s fantastic.
Thanks for sharing the fact here.

I think that cavers around the world would disagree with the list, and at least one of this “Top Six” is in both the wrong country and hemisphere. Maybe time to go back to the drawing board…not to dismiss the effort.

  4. Please let me know which one is wrong and I will revise that.
    Thanks

  5. i know my comment might appear subjective with me being lebanese and all, but have u considered Jeita Grotto?
Especially that it is the only cave that might become one of the new 7 natural wonders of the world.. i dont think that voters worldwide are biased..

    thanks

  6. Yeah,

If site access is not a factor, most cavers world-wide consider Lechuguilla Cave, in Carlsbad Caverns National Park, New Mexico, one of the most amazing and beautiful caves in the world. The cave is closed to the public, except for scientific expeditions.

  8. Thanks for your additional comment. Let me take a look at that cave.
