Osama Bin Laden FireFight

The Osama Bin Laden operation was successful in it’s mission to capture Osama Bin Laden. However, the mission didn’t go down without a fire fight. As we know, there wasn’t many people protecting Osama Bin Laden and security was under 5 people that were killed in the attack and one women was used as a Human Shield at the Mansion in Abbottobad, which is the town just north of Islamabad, Pakistan.

The U.S. Navy Seals and Specials Forces are the creme of the crop and the best soldiers that the United States has in it’s army. They carried out their mission even when knowing that there was a defect in their helicopter. The helicopter that landed inside the compound had a mechanical problem and wasn’t able to lift off, yet still the Navy Seals went on their mission not knowing how they would get back.

It was reported that Osama Bin Laden was shot in the head after he used the women as a human shield and Osama Bin Laden would of been captured and tried for his war crimes if he wasn’t killed in the operation.

It was also reported that Bin Laden’s son was killed as well in the firefight at the mansion in Abbbottobad.

The arab population is having mixed reviews about the killing of Osama Bin Laden. Many believe it’s the U.S. attempting to assert it’s strength in the world and politics, but President Barack Obama stated that this wasn’t an attack on Islam and this fight was brought to us in the attack on the World Trade Center on September, 11, 2001.

Osama Bin Laden had been hiding out amongst other houses in a populated area. He also never used any electronics or phone communication and solely spoke to his couriers in order to spread communication making Osama Bin Laden harder to find and catch.

President Obama is getting a lot of credit in the U.S. among the people for coordinating and signing off on this attack that was successful, yet dangerous in it’s own way. As opposed to attempting to bomb the three story mansion, Obama sent the helicopters and navy seals on the ground to minimize and civilian casualties, and this is was resulted in the firefight that ended willing the killing of Osama Bin Laden.
