I like impressionism the most and my favourit painter is Vincent van Gogh. All his paintings express deep feelings although not all of them are pleasant like those shown above.
I visited the site today & I felt myself very happy.I liked all the paintings shown above & mostly the two paintings by, “Salvador Dali” & by, “Leonardo Da vinci”.
With pleasure I will recommend my friends to visit this site.
Thank you
All of the paintings are so great and makes me amazed!,how i wish i could have 1 of worlds famous paintings. And if i could buy 1 this paintings i choose the # 1,no question about that and if it sold?It would be the highiest rate than the jackson’s #5 master piece, believe me.
To anybody who reads this
Those are all very famous a amazing paintings but then it’s hard to tell what about the scream painting from Edvard Munch ?
However also a lot of people will argue a little over van gogh and tell that his movement is more post impressionism rather than impressionism in it’s full splendor but it’s a picky detail. He also tried a few painting in pointillism. There is also the painting of the chapel sistine chapel which is quite famous. I believe it all depends on the education received. But don’t get me wrong I really love the chosen paintings.
I wish there were more on here from Leonardo’s time. Such a Michelangelo with the Sistine chapel ceiling or any of Raphael’s portraits.
Why isn’t The Last Supper on this list? I would think it meets the criteria.
this isn’t the real “Starry night”. This is “Starry night over the Rhone”
That is NOT Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. That is Starry Night in Rhone, two COMPLETELY different paintings by Van Gogh.
??? Not the other “Starry Night”?
Why did they use a cross-stiched version of Picasso’s painting rather than an actual picture of it. It’s not that hard to go to google, type in The Dream by Pablo Picasso and find a half decent image.
Also, I don’t think that particular Starry Night is Van gogh’s most famous. Just do a google search ‘Starry Night’ it is most definitely the other one that is more famous.
I have to agree with Jen on the painting of Van Gogh’s Starry Night. It is by far the other one that is more famous. Personally, I prefer the other one.
